Stats & Photos 2016

The 2016 event was held on Saturday 2nd April. 251 walkers and runners participated across the four routes. 2 retired without completing. The age range of registered participants was from 19 months to 87 years and we found one person who has done all 17 events. This year after a cool start for the first hour we had a sunny and warm event, which everyone enjoyed. On the 26.7 mile route the fastest completed in 3 hours 45 minutes at a speed of 7.12 mph, the slowest took 12 hours and 5 minutes at a speed of 2.21 mph. On the 21 mile route the fastest was 3 hours 57 minutes at 5.39 mph and the slowest 10 hours 19 minutes at a speed of 2.06 mph. The 17.5 mile route saw a fastest time of 3 hours 43 minutes at a speed of 4.71 mph and a slowest of 9 hours 18 minutes at 1.88 mph. Finally the 12.5 route fastest was 3 hours 35 minutes at 3.49 mph and the slowest was 7 hours 25 minutes at 1.69 mph. However charities have also benefited as hundreds of pounds were raised for various organisations. Please go to our charities page or links page for full details. Well done all who took part.
